Each project covers the source text provided in the initial quote. Any additions, revisions, or new sections after the start date are treated as a separate project and quoted accordingly. We do not assume responsibility for content not explicitly listed in the service agreement.
We build a project glossary based on your reference materials, style guides, and approved term bases. If no reference is provided, we use standard terminology from the relevant field (engineering, legal, medical). The client receives the glossary for review before final delivery.
Revisions address errors in the delivered translation (omissions, mistranslations, formatting issues). Changes to the original source text, new content, or requests to alter the tone or register are considered new work and billed separately. We clarify this before starting any revision round.
All client documents are treated as confidential. We sign NDAs upon request and store files on encrypted servers. Linguists work under non-disclosure agreements. We do not use client content for marketing or portfolio samples without explicit written permission.
Standard delivery is a bilingual file (source + target) in DOCX, XLIFF, or PDF, as agreed in the quote. For website localization, we deliver the translated HTML or CMS-ready files. If you need a specific format (InDesign, CAT tool export), we confirm feasibility before the project starts.
